Support Groups Available

Dealing With Grief & Loss

Support groups are available both day and evening for those experiencing the pain of grief and loss. Please contact Kelle Watson at 467-7707 or kwatson@cceva.org for more information.

Beyond the Warfront

A group for military members and/or their significant others. There are no age requirements and meetings are held at the Naval Air Station Oceana Education Support Center on base.  Please contact Marcela Osorio at 467-7707 or mosorio@cceva.org.

No Spouse Left Behind

This group provides a 9-week support experience for spouses of military men and women. Topics related to the stressful lifestyle of having a deployed spouse will be highlighted, including single-parenting, and tools to reduce anxiety and depression. Body Image Concerns? Self-Esteem Issues?

ImageCARE is an eight week group for women of all ages who are struggling to maintain a healthy body image and are looking for resources and support to help them heal. Please contact Susan Melnyk at 757-467-7707, or smelnyk@cceva.org for more information.

Back to Work Group
