Clinical Counseling

Counseling is a supportive learning experience, providing people the opportunity to uncover personal strengths. The goal of counseling is to teach new skills and empower individuals to make healthy choices for change.

The clinical counselors at Catholic Charities of Eastern Virginia are highly qualified, unbiased professionals. Our staff consists of Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, and License-eligible Resident Counselors, and Interns. Our therapists can assist with relationship issues, grief, anxiety, depression, behavior problems and personal crisis. We offer bilingual counseling to the Hispanic community. With more than 50 years of combined experience, our staff is well qualified to assist you in overcoming your personal challenges.

We are a provider for most area insurance plans, and services are offered on a sliding scale fee as needed for those without insurance. Day and evening hours are available by appointment.
