Post Adoption Case Manager (Full Time – 40 Hours)

Catholic Charities of Eastern Virginia is searching for a qualified, full-time Post Adoption Case Manager(s). The position is located at our Newport News office. This position reports to the Director of Youth and Family Services. The primary responsibilities of the Post Adoption Case Manager are as follows: 1) provide case management services for families who have adopted children through the Virginia foster care system. 2) Coordinate and facilitate activities and build community contacts for post-adoptive families. 3) Responsible for locating, developing, or obtaining needed services or resources, coordinating services and service planning with the family, and providing ongoing follow-up and monitoring to assessing ongoing needs of the adoptive families.

This position requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, psychology, counseling, or sociology. Candidates must have a minimum of three (3) years experience in foster care, foster care adoption, adoption, or post adoption services. The position requires confidentiality, community resource building, and regional travel. Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as attention to detail are a must. Executive Assistant/Human Resources Representative (Full Time)

Catholic Charities of Eastern Virginia is seeking an Executive Assistant/Human Resources Representative to support the CEO and Board of Directors, to include back-up of front desk, administrative oversight of IT, the maintaining of agency contracts and assist CEO with scheduling, projects, and administrative management. This position will also provide Human Resources services for the organization, to include recruitment, onboarding new employees, compliance with federal and state laws, and exit interviews. This position is a full-time position located at our Virginia Beach Main Office (5361 Virginia Beach Blvd) and reports directly to the CEO.

The qualified candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office and possess two or more years of office experience.
